Asankadogs' Kilim Dog Bed, The Bed Your Pet Will Actually Use.

It takes one sheep's wool to make a Kilim.
And that's just the beginning.

When you receive a QT Dog Kilim rug dog bed, you notice right away the vivid and very contemporary colors that never grow old in the passage of time. The artistry of the Kilim has, marvelously, not changed in a thousand years.

Timelessness comes from the beautiful weave and the hand-spun vegetable-dyed wool - the wool that is dedicated by each sheep to each rug.

Now, we're not spinning yarns when we tell you how exquisitely intricate the colors and patterns are. It's an ancient skill that takes a lot of time to complete.

And actually, it takes more than just a few hours and people with a loom to make our Kilim rug dog bed - it takes 2 people, 40 days, and 480 hours to be exact. For one dog bed.

The only way to make a Kilim
These beauties are made with the kind of Ancient World Persian Weaving you don't see much outside the East.

Each Kilim is produced by tightly interweaving two types of strands. These two types of woven strands are called "warp" and "weft". Warp are certain specific vertical strands and weft are single crosswise (horizontal) running strands passed through the warp strands to rest near the previous weft strand.

This allows the finished kilim a flat surface without a pile and sharply etched designs instead of a fuzzy or blurred arrangement. The dog bed is backed durable cotton duck fabric and filled with cotton ticking. For you, this means an intricate, gorgeous, and comfortable dog bed. Each bed is one of a kind.

Kilim dog bed, now is the time to buy it
Maybe you can find good quality dog beds like ours at other websites and specialty stores. But we doubt you'll find anything like a real kilim at our prices.

Our Kilim dog beds are also authentic, not cotton facsimiles. The wool rugs give you added strength and durability because its natural elasticity allows your rug to return to its natural shape after being stretched or exposed to water or steam. This means your dog bed won't lose its beauty when you clean it.

"The pillows are exactly as beautiful in their texture and color as I imagined they would be! They're beautiful and the pictures on your website don't do them justice. Thank you very much, we're extremely happy with them. --Miranda Knapp

Hello, I received my order last week and I am very pleased with the exotic and expensive looking pillows. My dog now has a kilim pillow of his very own.. I have many kilims in my home, and my pillows of approximately the same size and quality were DOUBLE what I paid for this one and I paid for shipping too. I highly recommend this dog bed.". --Betty London

A Bewitching Pet Bed
This handsome guy is our foster husky from Adopt A Husky of Dallas. Like the rest of our three dogs, he cannot resist the allure posed by a 100% wool rug surface. Upon reception I inspected the dog bed to verify it was made from a good rug. A girlfriend of mine has instructed me in Rug Inspection 101. Unzip the zipper and look over the bottom rug portion. The pattern underneath should match almost perfectly the pattern on the top. The kilim passed the test with flying colors and the dogs adore it. --Jess Tighe (Owner)
