Adjustable collars are a regular style collar with three different perimeter sizes. For all Toy breeds, Miniature breeds, Chihuahuas, Chinese Crested, Pomeranian and similar size dogs the 6-9 inch is a good choice. How To Size Your Harness
Harnesses are becoming more popular, especially with small dogs. Using the Roman style harness, pressure is removed from the trachea, a relatively fragile area. A harness can also be helpful for dogs prone to neck and back problems like Dachshunds and Corgis.
To find the best size range for your dog, measure around the rib cage and just behind the front legs, and add 5-10% extra for comfort.
To put the harness on, unbuckle the girth. Place the dog's head through the opening formed by the shoulder straps. Pick up the left front leg and place it over the sternum strap. Adjust the buckle at the girth. Adjust the shoulders. When properly fitted, the girth should sit close to the front legs, not back toward the hips.
